We, TheServerSide.com J2EE community, decided to test this out, and demonstrate just how far J2EE portability can go. What we decided to do was demonstrate runtime portability of a J2EE application in production, by taking TheServerSide.com (itself a J2EE application) and run it in real-time/production across a cluster of different vendor's servers. We began this quest with a cluster consisting of Oracle 9i Application Server and BEA Weblogic 7.
